Janine Santer
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Janine has strong manual skills and a rehabilitation background which means she can contribute to the entire patient journey. She has worked extensively and collaboratively with some of the leading Orthopaedic and Neuro Surgeons in England and feels privileged to have worked with a wide spectrum of patients across the globe. She has spent much of her career working with patients in a pool setting utislizing the principles of water to support rehabilitation goals post surgery and assist with pain reduction and regaining function post injury or illness.
Janine has a proven interest in Pilates and has undertaken training in Mat work and Reformer Pilates and she utilises these skills with great success for all types of presentations and rehabilitation. She has an ecclectic way of working to reflect the individuals she treats and ensures that each patient receives the benefit of a multifaceted approach.
She is committed to CPD and employs a global approach to patient care and symptom management.
Janine enjoys spending time with her young family and is an accomplished sports woman. She fenced nationally and internationally and following retirement from competition tried several martial arts including Aikido and Kendo and latterly achieved a Black Belt in Taekwondo.
Janine plays a mean game of chess and enjoys all racquet sports.

Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) is a 'game changing' treatment for musculoskeletal soft tissue and sports injuries including chronic tendon pain (tendinopathy).
