Elaine Strappini

Neurological Physiotherapist

Elaine Strappini qualified as a physiotherapist in 2000 and is really excited to join the team at Avenue Clinic. Elaine has spent the last 10 years specialising in stroke rehabilitation and has a keen interest in Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and falls management. Elaine’s many years experience working within a close knit multidisciplinary team has led her to have a very holistic approach where her client is always at the centre. She is motivated to providing individualised  programmes to meet their personal needs. She does this through a goal centred approach that is led by them, this can even include their family/friends if they wish. She will work with her clients to identify and treat any barriers that impact their  movement, activity or function. She is particularly interested on how environmental factors effect our own personal expectations and strongly believes that we all have the potential to be capable of more if we have the internal drive and appropriate external support to work towards our dreams.

"The more they assessed and looked at my body alignment I soon realised they weren’t just interested in treating the injury and sending me on my merry way, they were looking at a permanent solution so that I would hopefully not have any reoccurring similar problems.....how refreshing!"

Happy Client (for Hannah Lord & Elaine Strappini )
