Ben Perfitt

Ben is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist who recently returned to Guernsey after completing his training in Melbourne. His experience includes working with both adults and adolescents in clinical and community settings, supporting clients with a broad spectrum of concerns, from everyday life challenges to more complex and long-term mental health issues.  

He also brings over a decade of experience from client-focused and strategic roles in the insurance industry across Guernsey and London. This background helped shape his interpersonal strengths and a calm, respectful presence that supports effective therapeutic work.

Ben takes an integrative approach to therapy, grounded in a person-centered philosophy. He works collaboratively with clients, drawing on a range of evidence-based practices to support their individual needs and goals, and focuses on creating a warm, supportive space where meaningful change can take place.

He holds a Master’s and Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, an Advanced Diploma in Insurance, a Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management, and a BA (Hons) in History. He is registered with PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) and is currently in the process of converting his Australian qualification to UK accreditation.

Prices

  • Per 50 minute session £90
  • Ben is currently only able to accept privately paying clients
