Counselling provides a safe, non-judgmental space for teenagers and young adults navigating life’s challenges. Understanding that growing up and transitioning into adulthood can feel incredibly overwhelming, whether a young person is struggling with anxiety, stress, low mood, relational difficulties, or simply feeling like their voice isn’t being heard.
Areas of Interest & Experience
Before moving into therapeutic practice, Merrilee spent years working as a senior children’s nurse and clinical educator within the NHS, followed by over a decade supporting students with complex social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in education.
Holding a BA (Hons) in Children’s Nursing, a Level 5 Distinction in Trauma-Informed Practice, and a Level 6 Diploma in Counselling Teenagers, she looks at mental health through a holistic and compassionate lens that considers both mind and body.
